According to the news agency, the head of the Kovid Working Group, Dr. NK. Arora said that in the coming days, our target is to apply one crore doses daily. For this people have to come forward and get the vaccine. There is a lot of wrong, misinformation being spread about vaccines. To deal with this, there is a need to conduct awareness campaigns.

He said that it may take 6-8 months for the third wave of Kovid to arrive. We should use this time to make every citizen in the country immune to the vaccine. By doing this the third wave can be stopped or it will have little effect.

Significantly, after 46,148 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in the country in a day, the number of infected in the country increased to 3,02,79,331. At the same time, after the death of 979 more people due to infection, the death toll increased to 3,96,730. According to the Union Health Ministry, 32.36 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccine have been given in the country so far. The ministry said that India has surpassed the US in terms of number of vaccine doses given so far, achieving another milestone in the vaccination campaign.
