special envoy kathani revealed

Mutlaq bin Majid al-Qahtani said that every country believes that Taliban will dominate as soon as US forces withdraw from Afghanistan, but its important role in Afghanistan’s future cannot be ignored. This statement has come to the fore after the Indian Foreign Minister’s visit to Doha. During the Doha visit, S. Jaishankar met Qatar’s Foreign Minister, National Security Advisor and US Foreign Envoy on Afghan Dialogue Zalmay Khalijad.

During a conversation with an Indian journalist, Qahtani said that I understand the reason for reaching out to all the parties in Afghanistan and talking to them directly. We have to bear in mind that we are at a very important stage and if any meeting takes place, it should have only one objective, that is to encourage all parties to resolve their differences peacefully.

Stable Afghanistan is in everyone’s favor – Mutlaq Kahtani

He further said in this conversation that there is a golden opportunity to resolve this issue. Now if anyone wants to control this country by force, then he will not get recognition. A stable Afghanistan is in everyone’s favor. When Qahtani was asked whether talks between India and Pakistan are also being discussed as part of the process of Afghan peace talks? On this, he said that the land of Afghanistan should not be used as a proxy by any country.

Mutlaq Qahtani said that the stability of Afghanistan is in favor of both India and Pakistan. Pakistan is a neighboring country of Afghanistan and India has been providing financial aid to Afghanistan. We believe that both India and Pakistan want peace and stability in Afghanistan.

No official confirmation from India

India has not been officially involved in talks with the Taliban. However, Indian representatives have participated in several meetings, including the peace talks held in Doha. At the same time, no official statement has come from India’s side regarding talks with Taliban. Also, even after the statement of Mutlak Qahtani, the Indian Foreign Ministry has not given any reaction.
