Farmers will take a wise decision in the 2022 assembly elections: Naresh Tikait

Meerut. Naresh Tikait, national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), while starting the Kisan Tractor Rally from Meerut to Delhi’s Ghazipur border, said on Friday that the farmers will not “ghar wapsi” till their demands regarding agricultural laws are met and now by 2022. Will also take a wise decision in the elections. Addressing the farmers ahead of the Kisan Tractor Yatra leaving for Ghazipur border in Delhi from Sewaya toll plaza in Meerut, Tikait said, “Farmers are not ready to return home till their demands are met.

For the return of the agricultural laws, the farmers have taken a do or die resolution and the farmers will keep the agricultural laws back. With reference to the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, he said, “Farmers will now take a conscious decision in the 2022 elections as well. The agitation will continue and further strategy will be chalked out in the Kisan Mahapanchayat to be held on 26th (June) at Ghazipur border.”

During this, due to the tractor journey of the farmers, the traffic system got affected on many routes and there was a long jam from Modipuram, Kankarkheda, Baghpat bypass to Partapur.
