3 Metro stations will remain closed on Saturday due to fears of farmers’ agitation in Delhi. Protests may also take place in the national capital on Saturday, so Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and police have taken security measures as a precaution.

New Delhi. Delhi Metro has peasant movement In view of the apprehension, it has been decided to keep three main stations closed on the Yellow Line for four hours on Saturday. On Saturday, the farmers’ agitation will complete seven months. Apart from Singhu border between Delhi and Haryana, farmers are also protesting at Tikri and Ghazipur border.

The national capital may also witness protests on Saturday, so the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and the police have taken security measures as a precaution. DMRC tweeted on Friday night, “On the suggestion of Delhi Police, for security reasons, three metro stations on Yellow Line – University, Civil Lines and Vidhan Sabha, are open to public tomorrow (Saturday) 26.06.2021 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Will be closed till A senior police official also said that in view of the apprehension of protests, DMRC has decided to keep some metro stations closed.
